Gerri Volchko Paulisick is a founding partner of Boyer Paulisick Eberle & Biss, and currently serves as the firm’s Managing Partner. She has been extensively trained in mediation and conflict resolution through both the Lancaster Mediation Center, Pittsburgh Mediation Center, and the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania and has thirty years of experience with complex divorce, support, and custody litigation as well as estate planning, adoption, and adult guardianships.
After graduating as valedictorian from Cornell High School, Ms. Paulisick earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and the Administration of Justice from Pennsylvania State University in State College, and a juris doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Business Law Journal and was appointed to the Law Review. After having served as law clerk for the President Judge of Butler County and being named partner at Murrin, Taylor, Flach, Boyer & Paulisick, in 2001, she formed Boyer & Paulisick with Cathy Boyer, joining with Kristen Batson Eberle in 2008 and Kristin L. Biss in 2022 for form Boyer Paulisick Eberle and Biss.
She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Family Law Section, as well as a past chair of the PBA’s Client and Community Relations Committee. In 2016, she was awarded the prestigious Butler County Distinguished Service Award for her commitment to volunteer service to such worthy organizations as The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, Visiting Nurses Association Foundation, American Cancer Society, and CANDLE, Inc. She has also served as the Attorney Advisor for the Butler Mock Trial Team since 2013, helping them achieve numerous county and district championships and two state tournament appearances.
She resides in Butler with her husband, and their two rescue terriers, Neil Diamond and Barry Manilow, and though her children are grown, very much enjoys being invited to join her children for some of their adventures in adulting.
Ms. Paulisick strives each day to be not only a skilled, prepared, and zealous advocate, but also an advisor and source of support to her clients in their desire to manage and move on from the trauma of family conflict and loss. She is committed to helping her clients problem solve, avoid court when possible, and reduce conflict without having to sacrifice the better future that they deserve.
