Gerri Volchko Paulisick is a founding partner of Boyer Paulisick & Eberle and currently serves as Managing Partner. Ms. Paulisick has more than twenty years of experience with complex divorce, support and custody litigation cases, estate planning, adoption, adult guardianship cases, and has extensive training in collaboration, mediation and conflict resolution through both the Lancaster Mediation Center, Pittsburgh Mediation Center, and the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
After graduating as valedictorian from Cornell High School, from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the dual majors of Psychology and the Administration of Justice, and from Duquesne University School of Law where she was awarded a Juris Doctor degree in 1994, Ms. Paulisick began her legal career in Butler County, Pennsylvania, as the law clerk for the President Judge of Butler County. In 1995, she joined the law firm of Murrin, Taylor, Flach & Horan, where she was named partner in 1999. In 2001, she formed the firm of Boyer & Paulisick with Cathy S. Boyer, Esquire, which became Boyer Paulisick & Eberle with the addition of Kristen Batson Eberle, Esquire, in 2008.
While attending Duquesne University School of Law, Ms. Paulisick was appointed to the Duquesne University Law Review, serving as a Research Editor. She also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Business Law Journal.
Currently, Ms. Paulisick is a Member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, past chair of that organization’s Client and Community Relations Committee, a member of the Association’s Family Law Section and Women in the Profession Committee, and is a member of the Butler County Bar Association serving on the Butler County Family Court Rules Committee. Ms. Paulisick was previously served as counsel for Butler County MH/MR and currently serves as Special Counsel for Butler County in all Act 21 cases.
Ms. Paulisick has also served on numerous educational and non-profit boards, receiving the Butler County Distinguished Service Award in 2016 for her volunteer service to the Butler County community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, as Chair for the Scholarship and Teacher Grant committees and is as a member of the Butler Area School District Advisory Committee. She is past Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Visiting Nurses Association Foundation, past member of the Board of Directors of CANDLE, Inc., the Butler City Zoning Hearing Board, and the Multi-Municipal Planning Committee for the City of Butler.
Since 2013, she has served as the Attorney Advisor for the Butler Mock Trial Team.
Ms. Paulisick resides with her husband and children in Butler, Pennsylvania.
